Rita Coral (she/her) is a proud Gunditjmara woman author. Her writing consists of short stories, poetry and a combination of the two. Her writing travels through love, Culture, nature and identity. She has been involved in literary festivals and has been writing for over 10 years.

Asha Rajan (she/her) is a South Indian-Australian writer who lives and creates on Whadjuk Noongar boodjar. Her writing reflects culture, feminism and parenthood. Asha is committed to work that demonstrates respect for First Nations People, her own cultural history, and diversity and inclusion. Links to her work can be found at asharajanwriter.com

Arash Salavatian (aka Yaru) is an Iranian-Australian multidisciplinary artist and design specialist based in Melbourne (Naarm). In addition to his daytime architectural practice, Yaru is a poet and a musician, currently producing a series of collaborative poetry & music videos titled ‘Barefoot Metaphors’ on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/@yaru.himself

Sarita Slater (she/her) is an emerging poet and image-maker whose autobiographical work explores culture, memory, and belonging. A bi-racial second-generation Australian, her heritage shapes her reflections on identity. She has recently completed the WA Poets Pathways program and founded The Unabridged Memoir – a project of personal reminiscence.

Nikki Viveca (she/her) is a queer feminist performance artist who has appeared on stages across the country doing slam poetry, standup comedy, improv, burlesque and theatre. She currently lives in rural Queensland where no one believes any of it. Follow her further adventures on Instagram @nikkiviveca.

Stephen Wuling (he/him) is Shanghai-born and Melbourne-based. HE journeyed from civil service through global trade circles before returning to his first love: literature. A translator turned creator, he reignited his writing in 2017, never fostering cross-cultural voices with the aim of abandoning the present but opposing the worldly fitting and wandering into the timeless veiled realm of literature.
Some Notes on the Tenth Issue
The illustration for the inside page of the Almanack is a photograph of the endpapers of the vintage book, John Halifax, Gentleman by Mrs Craik (SW Partridge & Co, London, 1898).
In keeping with the zine format, the Pocketry Almanack has been photocopied multiple times and folded by hand.
